The Triangle has lots to offer in terms of events, festivals, and activities during the holidays, and this Halloween season make the most of your time by joining in on a few of these events! There are haunted houses, murder mystery dinner shows, parades, and even a Halloween festival for dogs…something for everyone!

 

 Lazy O Farm, located in Smithfield, is open throughout the month of October and features events for all ages. Find your way through the corn maze, hangout with the barnyard animals, take a hayride, pick a pumpkin, pack your lunch, and make it a day at the Lazy O Farm! On October 28th, the maze will also have a trick or treating event; everyone is encouraged to wear their best Halloween costume!

 

The Interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Halloween Show in Chapel Hill is the perfect date night activity. Enjoy dinner with friends and family, experience a live comedy show, and solve a murder; this unique murder mystery show includes actors in the audience to make the experience as real as possible. Although there are shows throughout the year, on October 28th, there will be a special Halloween Show that you won’t want to miss!

If you’re looking for a scary Halloween activity, the Harvested Farm Nightmares is for you. Walk through the corn maze, while encountering nightmarish monsters in the graveyard, prison, and haunted woods. Located at Ken’s Korny Corn Maze in Garner, this terrifying event is only for the brave!

Clayton Fear Farm is a local favorite! Open during the day with attractions like Great attractions including a millet maze, pumpkin patch, and much more. Located minutes from Raleigh near Clayton, North Carolina.

At dusk it turns into fright night with Haunted Scream Park. Test your courage in multiple haunted houses, the black hole and the haunted maze.

Of course you don’t want to miss out on the North Carolina Museum of History Halloween Day Parade! Enjoy food, crafts, and costumes early in the day, with the parade beginning at 2:00 pm. March down the streets of downtown and end with a special treat at the Governor’s Mansion!

Did you find the perfect Halloween costume for your dog? Test it out at Durham’s 2017 Barktoberfest! Durham Parks and Recreation and Beyond Fences joined forces to create a Halloween event that your canine friends will love! On October 29th in Durham Central Park, there will be a dog Halloween costume competition, a canine food drive for dogs in need, an interactive dog trick show, a photo booth, beer and food, and much more!            

 

On October 28th, HollyFest in Holly Springs will feature live entertainment, food, and games. Admission is free! Hope Tyler Home Team will have our tent out at HollyFest with lots of freebies and prizes, so make sure to stop by!
